Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Amanda Smith as assistant vice president and branch manager at its Tulsa branch where she leads operations and works closely with her team to ensure an excellent member experience.
Smith has been serving members in the Tulsa area and mentoring branch employees since starting at TFCU in 2017. During her tenure with the credit union, she helped develop new leaders, spearheaded operational improvements and fostered a culture focused on serving TFCU members and staff in a positive way.
“My goal is always to grow the branch through improved operations, exceptional member service and a team that feels happy and supported,” Smith said. “I’m also passionate about connecting with the community by sharing the credit union difference and helping people build stronger financial futures.”
Ashley Avanessian, vice president and regional director of branch operations for eastern Oklahoma, said Smith’s dedication to growth and her ability to inspire others make her stand out as a leader.
“Amanda has built her career by lifting others along the way,” said Avanessian. “Her drive, encouragement and care for her team and members will continue to strengthen our presence in Tulsa.”
