TMG Receives American Marketing Association NOVA Awards

DES MOINES, IA (May 10, 2013) For the fourth consecutive year, The Members Group (TMG) has received recognition from the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Iowa) with NOVA Awards for excellence in its marketing campaigns. NOVA Award entries are judged on the strategy, tactics and results achieved based on the campaign objectives. Results are triple weighted in the competition, which received a record number of entries this year.

TMG received third place in the Marketing Communications NOVA Awards category for the payment processor’s white paper series. TMG’s 2012 white paper series focused on promoting the company’s thought leadership to credit union and community bank professionals, creating brand awareness in the financial industry and opening doors for new client relationships.

As part of TMG’s strategy to create successful partnerships, the payments company worked with public relations firm Kelly Moore Consulting, Inc., of Des Moines to execute the award-winning white paper campaign.

TMG also received third-place honors in the Special Events NOVA Awards category for its 2012 TMG Client Conference. The event brought more than 120 credit union and community bank C-suite executives, payments managers and marketers together in San Diego, Calif. With a goal to create an exceptional experience for TMG clients, the marketing team executed two days of strategic, innovative sessions and activities focused on addressing the business and consumer issues affecting the financial industry.
