Travis Credit Union Names Stacy Fifield Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer

VACAVILLE, CA (August 8, 2013) — Travis Credit Union announced the promotion of Stacy Fifield to senior vice president and chief lending officer.

Fifield previously was vice president of lending and operations support for Travis Credit Union’s twelve-county market, which consists of 22 branch locations. She joined the credit union in 2002 as vice president consumer and business lending.

“Stacy has consistently achieved strong results for Travis Credit Union,” said Travis Credit Union’s President and CEO Patsy Van Ouwerkerk. “Additionally, Stacy has been instrumental in mentoring lending talent at TCU and advancing the unique member service culture for which the credit union is known. We are excited to welcome Stacy into her new role and we look forward to her continued leadership.”

As chief lending officer, Fifield is responsible for strategic direction of both consumer and commercial lending to include mortgage lending, card services and collections and for ensuring that borrowers receive Travis Credit Union’s renowned member service.

“I am pleased to announce the addition of Stacy to our executive management team,” stated Barry Nelson, executive vice president of Travis Credit Union.  “Stacy’s expertise in lending will help us to grow strategically while maintaining our focus on solid credit practices and relationship banking.”

A resident of Roseville, Fifield previously served as a board member of Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) and currently serves as an advisory board member. She is an executive committee member of the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Lending Council and an Advisory Board Member of the credit union vertical for Experian.

Fifield studied at California State University, Sacramento and is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School.
