Triangle Credit Union’s Teen Ambassador Contest

NASHUA, NH (June 3, 2013) Many teenagers face uncertainty about their financial future. Triangle Credit Union, recognizing that Teens are more responsive to their peers, has launched a contest to find a Teen Ambassador for the 2013-14 school year. Triangle’s Teen Ambassador will work with the credit union to create and share resources that will empower teenagers and help them overcome their financial uncertainty. The chosen teen will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Starting Monday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 16th, Teen Club members will be able to submit a 500 word essay stating why they should be Triangle’s Teen Ambassador by emailing teencontest@trianglecu.org.

Once the entry period is over, a committee at the Credit Union will interview the top 6 essayists and narrow the field to the top 3. After the top 3 are selected by the committee, the essays of the top 3 contestants will be posted to Triangle’s Facebook page for a public vote in July.

The top 3 essayists will then send notifications to friends, family and other acquaintances, urging them to vote for their essay at Triangle Credit Union’s Facebook page.

The participant whose essay receives the highest number of votes by the end of the contest period will be announced as Triangle Credit Union’s Teen Ambassador for the 2013-14 school year and the winner of a $1,000 college scholarship.
