Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Barbara Halsey to the role of Operations Manager for its Member Contact Center.
As Operations Manager, she will supervise daily operations of Truliant’s Member Contact Center to ensure service consistent with Truliant’s goal of improving lives. Halsey reports to Precious McCloud, Vice President, Member Experience, Member Contact Centers.
“With Barbara’s extensive contact center leadership experience in the financial services industry, she is a natural fit for this position,” McCloud said. “Her focus on development, communication, and exceeding expectations will enhance our member-owners’ experience.”
Most recently, Halsey worked as Contact Center Manager for CompuCredit, Inc., where her roles included coordination of collections efforts, training, auto dialer campaigns, contributions to strategic direction, and collaboration with web development to incorporate self-service functionality, among other items.
Halsey began her financial services career in 1998 as a unit supervisor at First Union National Bank. A promotion to Department Manager in 2000 expanded responsibility to include business banking and collections on business card products and unsecured business lines of credit.
She is also a former Claims Call Center Supervisor for National General Insurance.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, Halsey and her husband Gary reside in Lewisville, N.C.
