TRUST Offers New Resource to Help Credit Unions Manage their Investment Portfolios

WASHINGTON, DC (May 17, 2013) TRUST, the oldest and largest mutual fund family created for and by credit unions, recently launched a new investment-focused blog. The blog will offer both quick tips and more in-depth educational articles to help credit unions manage their own investment portfolios more effectively.

“Credit unions often come to us looking for the latest information and educational resources they can share with their board of directors,” remarked Jay Johnson, President of TRUST. “This new blog will give more credit unions access to frequently asked questions and industry investment trends.”

In addition to its new blog, TRUST also offers Dwight Johnston’s daily economic commentary to registered subscribers. This popular resource helps hundreds of credit unions stay on top of the latest economic trends and understand their potential impact on the industry.

TRUST helps credit unions succeed in serving their members by providing a professionally managed family of mutual funds — exclusive to credit unions — as well as the information and analysis they need to support investment decisions. Created by some of the leading credit unions with oversight by a board of trustees, TRUST’s mutual fund options keep credit unions always invested, are professionally managed, and are based on the cooperative values of credit unions. Today, credit unions have invested over $1.5 billion in TRUST’s three portfolios.

Interested credit unions can view the blog and sign-up to receive the economic commentary at www.trustcu.com. More information about TRUST’s three portfolios can also be found on our website.
