Twenty-one win $500 in Altura Credit Union checking account promotion

Grand Prize Winner also awarded Beats by Dr. Dre and iPad Mini

RIVERSIDE, CA (Oct. 10, 2013) — Altura Credit Union named Claude Storay IV of Corona, Calif., the grand prize winner in its iChecking account promotion that took place throughout September.  As the grand prize winner, Storay received $500, Beats by Dr. Dre and an iPad Mini. In all there were 21 winners, including Storay, who each received $500.

Altura held the September sweepstakes to promote its iChecking account for individuals aged 18-24.  A winner was selected each weekday in September.  The grand prize winner and weekday winners were selected randomly from the entries submitted.

iChecking is designed to introduce young adults to financial management tools and skills. The account has no monthly fees, no minimum balance, no requirement for direct deposit, and includes free online banking and bill pay, free mobile bankingwith Text Teller and has the special feature of a customizable second line on the Debit Card.

To be eligible for the drawings, consumers could enter in several ways:  Become an Altura member and open a new iChecking account, submit an entry form at a branch, or send a write-in entry by mail.
