United Federal Credit Union announces three key promotions within marketing teams

United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) promotes Warren Pattison to Vice President, Digital Strategy, from Director of Digital Strategy. Two other key employees take on new marketing roles. These changes are part of a sustained effort to grow and develop talent within the organization.

“Our culture is focused on developing from within. This means ensuring we match talent and skills with the needs of our organization and our members,” explains UFCU Senior Vice President of Marketing Erin Hennessy. “These changes are a direct reflection of the changes within our industry and our hyper-focus on the membership.”

The team’s renewed focus will be on supporting the UFCU brand and improving members’ digital journey.

Warren Pattison becomes vice president of digital strategy from director of digital strategy.

Before joining UFCU, Pattison served in various leadership roles over the last 13 years in e-commerce and digital strategy at J.P. Morgan Chase, Otterbox, and Udi’s. As his team expands, he will continue to provide an ambitious roadmap for all of UFCU’s digital products and online service delivery initiatives as well as lead all the company’s digital marketing initiatives.

Christine Aranyos is UFCU’s new director of marketing and communications, after serving as director of corporate marketing.

This new role will drive both corporate and regional marketing efforts for UFCU. Aranyos was previously campaign manager at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in Notre Dame, Ind., and associate copy director at Aisle Rocket Studios in St. Joseph, Mich. Early in her career, she was a radio reporter/news anchor at Midwest Family Broadcasting in Benton Harbor, Mich.

Coli Smith becomes director of digital marketing after serving as director of regional marketing.

Smith brings a wealth of digital experience to this role, having built mobile applications, websites, landing pages and digital marketing plans in prior positions such as director of marketing strategy at Andigo Credit Union in Schaumburg, Ill.
