United Federal Credit Union celebrates grand openings of facilities in Niles and St. Joseph, Michigan

JOSEPH, MI (March 20, 2015) –– United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) plans two days of celebrations to mark the grand openings of its Corporate Office Buildings in Niles, Michigan, and its flagship branch in St. Joseph, Michigan.

UFCU President/CEO Gary Easterling, Four Flags Chamber of Commerce  President/CEO Tyanna Weller and Niles Township Supervisor Jim Stover will speak immediately prior to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the new Corporate Office Building at 2102 S. 11th Street, Niles, Michigan.

The 30-thousand-square-foot building was constructed to further improve member services and to shorten the commute time for UFCU employees who reside in the southern portion of Berrien County. Until now, there was only one UFCU corporate office building. It is located in St. Joseph, Michigan.

On Wednesday, March 25 at 11:30 a.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at UFCU’s new flagship branch at 2819 S. State Street, St. Joseph. Easterling will again make remarks along with Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce President Tammie Howard, St. Joseph Mayor Mike Gary and Branch Manager Emily Szymkiewicz. Refreshments will be served.

The 9,600-hundred-square-foot state-of-the-art branch offers a full suite of member services: teller services, auto and mortgage lending, business services and investment planning. The branch enhances member convenience through expanded drive-thru capabilities, and incorporates member service and new technology into an inviting environment.

The public is invited to attend both events.
