United Federal Credit Union names Josh Nelson Mortgage Advisor in Carson City, Nevada
ST. JOSEPH, MI (March 21, 2022) — United Federal Credit Union (United) is pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Nelson as Mortgage Advisor at its branch at 1350 East William Street in Carson City.
Nelson will provide quality real estate lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generate investment quality mortgage loans.
“I am very excited to join United’s mortgage team,” said Nelson. “I look forward to helping our members find the right mortgage products to fit their needs, help them achieve their financial goals, and find their dream home.”
Nelson brings 15 years of mortgage and financial experience in the northwest Nevada market to his new role. Most recently, he was a mortgage advisor with Finance of America Mortgage. He pairs his industry knowledge with a passion to help people find the right mortgage option for their new home.
Nelson lives the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ not only through member service, but also community involvement. He volunteers with several local organizations including The First Tee of Northern Nevada and Junior Achievement. He is looking forward to also working with United’s community partners in northwest Nevada including United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra and the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.
