United Federal Credit Union to open in-store branch in Springdale

SPRINGDALE, AR (March 12, 2015) — United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) is excited to announce the Grand Opening of an in-store branch at the Walmart SuperCenter, 2004 S. Pleasant St, Springdale, Arkansas. The branch will be open for business on Monday, March 16. The public is invited to attend a ribbon-cutting celebration at 11 a.m.

“This is our first branch in the northwest Arkansas market,” said UFCU Market Vice President Noel Sanger. “We are committed to growing our credit union footprint throughout Arkansas, which will provide our members with more options and flexibility. We are making it possible for our members to combine shopping and banking, which adds convenience and should save them valuable time.”

The in–store branch will offer extended hours of service for members who shop in the evening and on weekends. It will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. An ATM, located outside of the branch lobby, will be accessible from inside the Walmart SuperCenter, which is open 24 hours. The branch will also be equipped with video technology that will enable Members to connect remotely with mortgage or investment advisors.

In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) Pro Greg Bohannan will be on hand from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. to sign autographs, and shoppers who open up a new account will be entered into a drawing to have up to $200 of his or her Walmart bill paid by UFCU.
