United Health Credit Union Celebrates National Youth Week, Deposits From Young Members Up

BURLINGAME, CA – United Health Credit Union, UHCU, celebrated National Credit Union Youth Week by encouraging young members to start saving for their future. UHCU was one of hundreds of credit unions celebrating Youth Week by hosting events and promotions to educate young members and encourage savings.

“In addition to current young members taking part in our savings challenge, we saw a dozen new young people open accounts during National Credit Union Youth Week” said Linda White, CEO of United Health Credit Union. “In total our young members deposited just under $5,000 into their savings accounts during National Credit Union Youth Week” White said.

In addition to the savings challenge, two young members won prizes provided by the credit union.

United Health Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial cooperative with membership open to employees of Mills-Peninsula Health Services and its subsidiaries, professional and medical staff of Mills-Peninsula Health Services, employees of the Blood Centers of the Pacific, family members of credit union members, and anyone who works or resides in Burlingame.
