UW Credit Union Wins Two Star of Madison Awards
MADISON, WI (September 11, 2013) — UW Credit Union has received the Best Credit Union honor and was tied for the Best Bank distinction in the reader-voted Star of Madison Awards, presented by Capital Newspapers.
President & CEO Paul Kundert attributes the awards to employees’ ability to listen to members’ needs. “Our members are at the heart of everything we do,” said Kundert. “I’m proud to be a part of this organization that’s primary mission is putting members’ best interests first.”
From June 11 through June 24, readers of Madison.com, The Wisconsin State Journal, The Capital Times and 77 Square voted on their favorite service providers in five major categories. UW Credit Union was voted number one in two financial categories in Personal & Professional Services.
“I also want to thank all our members who voted for us,” said Kundert.
