Veridian Credit Union cuts ribbon on fifth Omaha-area branch

WATERLOO, IA (October 11, 2018) — Less than three years after announcing plans to open 10 to 15 Omaha-area branches in the next decade, Veridian Credit Union hosted a ribbon cutting event for its fifth area branch. City and chamber officials gathered at Veridian’s new branch at 17050 Wright Plaza at The Shops of Legacy for the event on October 9.

“We’ve been open for business for about a month and have received a very warm welcome from our community,” said branch manager Clint Adams. “There’s a growing awareness of the credit union difference, and we’re honored to make member-owned, not-for-profit financial services more accessible and convenient here in Omaha.”

The new Veridian branch is 5,000 square feet with space for commercial, mortgage and other consumer lending. It also offers safe deposit boxes, a coin machine, six teller stations and three drive-up lanes, including one with an ATM. Veridian’s other area branches include one on West Maple Road and one on South 144th Street in Omaha, one in Papillion and one in Council Bluffs.

Trevor Hudson, Executive Director of the West O Chamber of Commerce; Monte Berg, President and CEO of Veridian Credit Union; Clint Adams, Branch Manager of Veridian Credit Union; Jason Ferris, Market President of Veridian Credit Union; David Brown, President and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
