Vizo Financial announces 2019 board election and officers

GREENSBORO, NC (September 18, 2019) — Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union announced the results of the board of directors’ election during its Annual Meeting on September 11, 2019. Member credit unions were invited to attend the meeting at the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, N.C., during the Corporate’s Financial Conference.

The following were elected to serve three-year terms: Jeff Chelius, Riverfront FCU, Reading, Pa.; Alison DeTuncq, University of Virginia Community CU, Charlottesville, Va.; and Scott Woods, South Carolina FCU, North Charleston, S.C.

In addition, Daniel Berry, Duke University FCU, Durham, N.C., was elected to serve a two-year term.

At Vizo Financial’s board of directors’ reorganization meeting, the following officers were elected: chair, James F. McCaw, president/CEO of Viriva Community Credit Union in Warminster, Pa.; vice chair, Jerry King, president/CEO of DEXSTA Federal Credit Union in Wilmington, Del.; treasurer, Joan M. Moran, president/CEO of Department of Labor Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C.; and secretary, R. Scott Weaver, president/CEO of Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union in Greenville, S.C.

The following were appointed to Vizo Financial’s supervisory committee: Richard C. Burtnett, Michal Parker and Mark Volponi.

The following individuals were appointed to serve on Vizo Financial’s credit committee: Jerry King, Lisa Lambrecht and Kimberly Witt.
