World of Cents app to be Decommissioned on Apple Store June 30
ALEXANDRIA, VA (June 14, 2022) — The NCUA’s World of Cents application, an app designed to help teach children the value of money and how to develop good spending and saving habits, will no longer be available for download through the Apple Store, effective June 30, 2022.
The NCUA is decommissioning the application because it has reached the end of its service life. The already downloaded app will remain operational; however, it will not be updated or supported going forward.
Users can continue to use the desktop version of World of Cents, which is available on the NCUA’s consumer website, MyCreditUnion.gov.
