Xpress Data, Inc (XDI) recently announced the hiring of Kirk Drake as the company’s new President. Mike Cooper remains at XDI as the organization’s CEO.
The hiring of Drake will leverage XDI’s solid foundation of exclusively serving credit unions, while simultaneously building on the company’s technological prowess. Drake brings decades of experience working with Credit Unions, with an emphasis on technology strategy.
“XDI has grown tremendously over the last 30 years, and especially post-COVID. It makes sense to expand our executive team to include Kirk’s expertise. We are excited to bring his knowledge and strategic focus as we continue to build on our solid foundation,” said Mike Cooper, XDI’s CEO.
Drake is an entrepreneur who began his career working in Information & Technology with NIH Credit Union. Drake’s relationship with XDI goes back to this beginning, as NIH Credit Union was, and remains, an XDI client. As a technology pioneer, Drake has created multiple businesses and CUSOs, as well as offered his insights on a variety of Boards. “XDI is first and foremost a technology company. And as a business that serves Credit Unions, this is a natural fit. I am excited to build on the expertise XDI has perfected over the last three decades and help drive our continued innovation and growth,” said Drake.
Drake has been working with XDI as a consultant during the last 18 months. In addition to his professional experience, Drake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, from the University of Maryland.
