Zogo exceeds 500,000 financial education modules completed milestone in 6 months

Award-winning, mobile financial literacy app provider Zogo has exceeded 500,000 financial education modules completed by members of more than two dozen credit union clients in six months (approximately 520,000 modules completed from October 31, 2019 to April 30, 2020).

According to Zogo Co-founder/CEO Bolun Li, this milestone far exceeds what they had originally planned when the financial literacy app officially launched on October 31, 2019. The Zogo app has more than 300 financial education modules designed by Duke University behavioural science professors. Users (credit union members) who complete modules earn points for answering questions correctly, which can be redeemed within the app at name-brand retailers.

“We're so excited about the engagement we're seeing,” states Li.  “Even though we are extremely pleased with these numbers, we feel this is only the beginning for much bigger things to come. To know that we are helping this many people educate themselves, acquiring sound financial practices, is very rewarding. And positioning credit unions as that educational resource makes it that much better. We can’t wait to see what the next six months will bring.”
