3 reasons exchange is still #1 in credit unions

It’s no secret that email is considered one of the most valuable communications tools for credit unions. Email is used for everyday communications to staff and members and also plays a vital role during disaster recovery! Microsoft Exchange continues to hold the market share in our industry but as new options are becoming available for credit union leaders to consider (GMail, Office 365) it is important to look at why Exchange continues to be the chosen application for this critical process.

1. Stability

Credit union leaders require an email solution that is reliable and robust. MS Exchange has a long history and has supported businesses since 1996. No other email application has proven its versatility and ability to adjust to the fast paced demands of businesses. 2. Mobile Support

Today’s credit union leaders are more likely to read their email on the smartphones or iPads than at their desktop. Exchange (along with ActiveSync) provides a reliable email environment regardless of whether you use an Android, iPhone or other window’s based mobile device.

You may have looked at other email applications but my guess is you came right back to Exchange. And while Gmail is a strong email option for personal use it pales in comparison to the power of Microsoft Exchange. Out of the box features such as social integration, shareable calendars and tight integration with other Microsoft products like SharePoint enables Exchange to obliterate the competition!
