Sandwiched in between New Year’s Resolutions and bikini season, March is not a good month if you’re a treadmill salesman. Which is why this is the perfect time to buy exercise equipment, especially the kind people use indoors when it’s too cold to go outside. Same goes for ski and snowboarding equipment. - Gardening supplies
Home improvement stores stock new gardening supplies in March, and offer great deals to help homeowners kick off the upcoming Spring season. You’ll find almost everything on sale in the garden section, from A-frames to zucchini seeds.
- Freestanding fireplaces and space heaters
Sears, Home Depot and other retailers slash prices on indoor heating appliances in March. Golden Vantage brand electronic fireplaces are on sale at Sears for as much as 65% off. Many models of Vornado space heaters are on sale at Amazon for 50% off or more.
