The SAC Foundation, the charitable arm of Cobalt Credit Union, is proud to announce the success of its annual Charity Golf Event, which raised more than $50,000 to support veteran-focused organizations and initiatives. As part of this year's impact, the Foundation donated $10,000 each to Heroes on the Water and Fisher House, two organizations dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and their families.
Held at Tiburon Golf Club, this year’s event brought together 35 teams for a day of golf, community, and philanthropy. Funds were generated through sponsorships, donations, raffles, and silent auction items, making it the most successful golf event in the SAC Foundation’s history.
“At Cobalt, honoring and supporting those who have served our country is a core part of who we are,” said Robin Larsen, President and CEO of Cobalt Credit Union. “The incredible generosity shown through this event allows us to invest in organizations like Heroes on the Water and Fisher House that provide meaningful support to veterans and their families every day.”
The SAC Foundation supports initiatives throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa with a focus on military, youth, education, and community development. Its annual golf event serves as one of the Foundation’s premier fundraising efforts, bringing together community partners and businesses that share a commitment to making a difference.
