Many children started the new year with warm holiday memories thanks to the efforts of members and staff at Insight Credit Union. Hundreds of new toys were collected and donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign and distributed to local Toys for Tots drop off locations throughout Central Florida. With families still struggling after 2017’s hurricanes, it was especially important to the organization to give back to the community.
In addition to donating toys, Insight employees volunteered more than 200 hours at the Toys for Tots warehouse in Orlando. Volunteers had the opportunity to sort items and hand out toys to registered families.
“Insight proudly supports Toys for Tots in an effort to bring hope and holiday cheer to less fortunate children.” said George Davis, president and chief executive officer at Insight Credit Union. “We are so thankful for our members and employees who donated toys and their time to support this worthy cause.”
