Heritage Trust’s Retirewell program has joined with Cetera Financial Group®, a leading network of independent broker-dealer firms supporting the delivery of professional financial advice, and moved its retirement platform to the Cetera Financial Institutions platform. Heritage Trust is a $640 million dollar institution that has been a part of the greater Charleston area since 1955. It serves around 45,000 members, over 400 Select Employer Groups and has 12 branch locations throughout Charleston, Dorchester, Colleton and Berkeley Counties. Cetera Financial Institutions is the Cetera firm specifically focused on serving the wealth management programs of banks and credit unions.
The Retirewell team includes four financial professionals who focus on financial planning, retirement, insurance and investment management services. The program supports over $64 million in client brokerage assets and continues on a growth track, potentially expanding into a CUSO over the next year. The alliance with Cetera Financial Institutions offers more service and support to the program.
