The MarCom Awards have announced the winners of their 2021 international creative competition for marketing and communication professionals. Among the winners is DuPage Credit Union who received a Platinum Award, the highest recognition awarded by MarCom, for their Credit Card Redesign.
The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. This year they received 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and dozens of other countries around the world, and selected Platinum, Gold, and honorable mention winners for 300 categories in Print, Web, Video, and Strategic Communications.
“As a designer, it’s exciting to see our creative efforts come to life and to receive this recognition,” said Lauren Marshall, Assistant Creative Manager at DuPage Credit Union. “We always design with our members in mind, and we’ve received great feedback on the new designs as well as the new benefits of the credit cards like contactless payments and the DuPage Card Controls app.”
The Credit Union made the switch to a new credit card provider this year. This was accompanied by a complete reimagining of their four credit cards, including new names and new designs. Everything was designed in-house by their team of marketing professionals. In September, DuPage Credit Union members received their new credit cards.
