Eric Maldonado, business development manager for Redwood Credit Union, was recently honored by the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of San Francisco (HCCSF) for his leadership and contribution in serving the small business community. And Mayor London Breed and Joshua Arce, Director of Workforce Development presented Maldonado with a Certificate of Honor for supporting the Latino small business community in San Francisco.
Included on the certificate were these words from Mayor London Breed: “Throughout your work as a community leader in San Francisco, you have demonstrated unwavering commitment to uplifting and supporting Latino small businesses. Further, during the COVID-19 global pandemic, you connected local businesses to local, state, and federal relief programs, disseminated critical safety information, provided financial advice, and helped spearhead innovative programs and initiatives. You have dedicated countless hours of your time striving to ensure that all local entrepreneurs and small business owners are supported, undoubtedly leaving a lasting mark on the lives of many.”

Small businesses are a key component of San Francisco’s culture and vibrancy, and Carlos Solórzano, CEO of HCCSF and Victor Reyes, Chairman of the Board at HCCSF honored Maldonado’s contribution in saying, “Your leadership and guidance to multiple organizations highlights the diversity of our small business community and supports the economic growth of San Francisco and the Bay Area.”
