On Friday, February 24, Push Button Creative Audio (PBCA), an Orlando-based developer and creator of engaging audio content for brands worldwide with a satellite office in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., became the recipient of the American Advertising Federation Broward + Palm Beach ADDY Award for Best of Broadcast for Sound Design for its work with Whitefish Credit Union, the largest credit union in Montana.
The award was for a television campaign for home equity lines of credit. PBCA scripted the spot and produced the voiceover, sound effects, and music. “We love it when clients come to us with a unique challenge” stated Jon Ruhff, co-founder of Push Button Creative Audio. “While we are normally brought in at the concept stage, this time we were brought in after visuals were developed and asked to reimagine the concept and copy using the existing visual elements. It was a fun challenge, and we appreciate the Whitefish team trusting us to bring the new concept to life.”
PBCA has created and produced sound design for Whitefish Credit Union for the past seven years and is now the company’s creative audio agency of record. The sound work completed has included radio and television voiceovers; audio logo, which is the sound symbol of the brand; and music.

Whitefish Credit Union is one of five credit unions who signed PBCA as the creative audio agency of record coming into 2023. The others include My USA (Dayton, OH) for radio creative development and production; Ohio University Credit Union Financial (Athens, OH) for radio creative development and production; Orlando Credit Union (Orlando, Fla.) for on-hold messages and audio; Pathfinder Credit Union (Casper, WY) for radio creative development and production; and Radiant Credit Union (Gainesville, Fla.) for radio creative development and television audio.
PBCA also works with five additional credit unions on a project basis. They include Abound Credit Union (for five years) located throughout Kentucky; Fibre Federal Credit Union/TLC (for 15 years) located throughout coastal Oregon; Horizon Credit Union (for eight years) based in Spokane Valley, WA; and Robins Financial Credit Union (for 10 years) located throughout Georgia.
