An exciting next chapter for credit unions
It’s been an exciting and historic year for CUNA, NAFCU, AACUL, Leagues, and credit unions as we work toward our goals of advancing the communities we serve.
Advocacy is the primary way we do this, and together this year, we:
- Successfully challenged the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s section 1071 rule, staying implementation for all covered entities, including credit unions.
- Got bipartisan legislation modernizing federal credit union board meeting requirements through the House and introduced in the Senate.
