With over two decades in the marketing and communications industry, Fred Brown has performed many roles: designer, special event planner, motivational speaker, trade show coordinator and superhero. He’s worked in the business and nonprofit sectors, and is a sixteen-year member and three-time Past President of the Rotary Club of Colchester. Fred is also President of the Colchester Learning Foundation, Colchester Business Association and the Hartford Chapter of the Credit Union League of Connecticut, as well as serving on several other local non-profit boards of directors.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Berkley University and became a CUDE (Credit Union Development Educator) in 2008 (The best class EVER) and continually educates people as to the value of credit unions. As Director of Marketing & Member Development at Northeast Family Federal Credit Union, he is the driving force behind all the credit union’s marketing, financial literacy, business and product development, community involvement and public relations efforts. Not only is Fred an organ donor advocate, he is a living organ donor. Fred adds to his exceptional qualifications, a passion for learning, networking, philanthropy a wonderful grandson, Mathis and two beautiful dogs, Oki and Macks.
