Credit union video earns Emmy nomination

TALLAHASSEE, FL (October 11, 2013) — The Suncoast Chapter of National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the annual Emmy nominations on October 9, 2013. Included on the prestigious list of nominees in the “Commercial” category was a video produced for Community South Credit Union by The Pod Advertising.

The Suncoast EMMY® Awards recognize excellence in television markets for all of Florida and Puerto Rico, as well as several other regions located in Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia. Only four commercials received Emmy nominations this year, including the 90-second Community South CU video titled “Fish for the Future.” (Watch the video at http://bit.ly/CSCUFish.)

Jan Page, CEO of Community South, expressed pride, but not surprise, over the nomination. In reference to her marketing and video production team at The Pod, she said, “Over and over again, they prove to understand who we are and who we aren’t. This video speaks in our voice about our values.”
