Elevate CU advocacy at NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus

NAFCU’s largest advocacy event of the year – Congressional Caucus – is just two months away. The conference amplifies the industry’s voice by gathering hundreds of credit union leaders in Washington, D.C., to connect with lawmakers, regulators, and administration officials on financial services issues and industry priorities.

2023 Congressional Caucus is Sept. 10-13 in Washington, D.C. Early bird savings for Congressional Caucus end Friday – register now to save $200 off with code CAUCUSAVINGS.

Congressional Caucus boasts a lineup of key decisionmakers who will address attendees throughout the week on important issues faced by the industry. Previous speakers have included CFPB directors, NCUA chairs and board members, Treasury officials, members of critical congressional committees, cybersecurity experts and more. Credit unions also hold meetings with their respective lawmakers on Capitol Hill, as hearing directly from constituents on how laws and proposed legislation impact the communities they serve is the most effective form of advocacy.

Coinciding with Congressional Caucus is NAFCU’s Large CU Summit. Happening Sept. 11-12, this complimentary event provides credit unions with more than $5 billion in assets the opportunity to meet with the NCUA’s Office of National Examinations and Supervision (ONES) and the CFPB’s Office of Supervision, Enforcement & Fair Lending (SEFL) to discuss compliance and supervision issues faced by these credit unions. Register to attend the summit– either in-person in Washington, D.C., or virtually.
