Otsuka committee vote, appropriations bills scheduled this week

The House and Senate are in Washington, D.C., this week, with both considering appropriations legislation on their respective chamber floors.

Among the bills the House is considering is the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act of 2024 (H.R. 4664).

The Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee will on vote on several nominations Tuesday, including Tanya Otsuka to serve on the NCUA board.

Otsuka testified last month before the committee, and CUNA and NAFCU submitted joint comments for the record.
