2016 CUNA Marketing Management School awards 39 certified credit union marketing executive designations

WASHINGTON, DC (July 8, 2016) — Credit Union National Association has announced that 39 credit union professionals earned the Certified Credit Union Marketing Executive designation at this year’s CUNA Marketing Management School, June 12-16, 2016, in Austin, Texas. Attendees earned the designation after completing the three-year program and passing the CUCME exam.

“Earning the CUCME designation is no small feat; these 39 professionals have invested countless hours and incredible amounts of energy into the program, and they deserve serious commendation” said Ariel Bilskey, instructional design manager at CUNA. “These designees now have the knowledge they need to drive their marketing strategies and make a greater impact on consumers.”

Led by experts in financial services marketing, the CUNA Marketing Management School includes a diverse array of topics, including numbers and ratios, growth, branding, generational marketing, and member engagement. This year’s school included a keynote presentation by improv teacher Shana Merlin on “The Culture of Yes,” a work environment where creativity and unconventional ideas are welcomed and accepted.
