$3000 awarded to support financial literacy in Gwinnett County

ATLANTA, GA (May 21, 2015) — Two organizations with locations in Gwinnett County are the latest beneficiaries of the Delta Community Philanthropic Fund. The Salvation Army’s Money Matters program was awarded a $1000 grant, and Gwinnett-based Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) was awarded $2,000 to support its Get on Your F.E.E.T. (Financial and Entrepreneurial Education and Training) initiative. These grants are provided through the Delta Community Philanthropic Fund, which will award a total of $75,000 to metro Atlanta non-profits in 2015.

Money Matters is a financial literacy program offered through the Salvation Army’s Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Atlanta. Get on Your F.E.E.T. provides financial education to small business owners and entrepreneurs enrolled in ACE.

The Checks were presented yesterday at Delta Community’s Duluth Branch.
