NAFCU testimony to Congress
WASHINGTON, DC (March 7, 2017) — Representatives of Chevron Federal Credit Union (Oakland, Calif.) and Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (Live Oak, Texas) will testify this week on behalf of the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) before two House committee and subcommittee hearings on the need for a national data security standard and the importance of credit union small business lending.
Wednesday, March 8, 11:00 a.m. – House Small Business Committee
Chevron Federal Credit Union President and CEO Jim Mooney will testify in the full committee hearing, “Small Business Cybersecurity: Federal Resources and Coordination.” Mooney is also chair of the NAFCU Cybersecurity and Payments Committee.
Thursday, March 9, 11:00 a.m., House Small Business Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations
Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Sonya McDonald will testify before a subcommittee hearing, “An Overview of SBA’s 7(a) Loan Program.”
