AEA Federal Credit Union staff donates to Amberly’s Place

YUMA, AZ (June 29, 2021) — AEA Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $2,850 to Amberly’s Place. Donated funds were raised through the Employee Jean’s Giver Program during first quarter, 2021.

AEA employees participate in the Jeans Giver Program all year long and donate either $5 or $10 from their paychecks to wear jeans. Each quarter, the funds raised are given to a charity selected by employees. Since its start in 2016, the AEA Employee Jeans Giver Program has raised over $56,000 for local non-profits.

“Amberly’s Place gives support and comfort to victims and their families when they need it most,” said Adele Sandberg, AEA President/CEO and Amberly’s Place Board Member. “The Amberly’s Place team truly cares for everyone who walks through their doors. They are everyday heroes and the AEA is grateful to have them in our community.”

Established in 1999, Amberly’s Place, “provides an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to the investigation, prosecution and intervention of cases of child sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking.” For more information on Amberly’s Place, visit www.amberlysplace.com.
