Akcelerant Enhances Loan Origination Platform to Include Integration to SWBC’s Unity®

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA – October 5, 2011 – Akcelerant, a provider of connected software technology to the financial services industry, announced today new integration between SOLUTION.LENDING, Akcelerant’s loan origination system powered by the Akcelerant Framework, and SWBC’s Unity® application. The new “connector” allows Akcelerant customers to quickly and accurately support cross sell opportunities during the loan generation process for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), Extended Warranties (MBI & VSC), Credit Insurance and Debt Cancellation.
The Unity application is seamlessly integrated to SOLUTION.LENDING through the addition of a new workflow step that allows loan protection products to be presented and sold to each new loan applicant. This eliminates the need for multiple software programs and decreases the risk of human error associated with double data entry. Loan officers can also easily generate any Unity-related insurance documents and print them, along with all other loan materials, at the end of the loan cycle.
