Align Credit Union to host free Khmer-spoken first-time homebuyer workshop
Align Credit Union will be holding a free first-time homebuyer workshop for the Khmer community at their branch at 87 Hale Street in Lowell on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6-7 PM. Bopha Peou, one of Align’s Mortgage Originators, will be joined by a local realtor and attorney. Together, they will explain the entire homebuying process from pre-approval through closing. Topics to be covered include:
+ Developing a budget and purchase plan
+ Understanding and improving your credit score
+ Searching for a home
+ The importance of getting pre-approved
+ Loan options and closing costs
Drinks and light food will be served and all attendees will receive a coupon for $1,000 off Align closing costs. Attendees should reserve their seat by emailing homeloans@AlignCU.com.
