American 1 Credit Union participates in random acts of community

JACKSON, MI (December 23, 2013) — American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back.  As part of their Random Acts of Community program that began in 2013, American 1 ended this year’s efforts with Santa’s Random Acts of Community Gas Promotion.

American 1 took Santa and his elves to five gas stations across Jackson County during the week of December 16. The first 15 vehicles to come through received up to $30 in free gas courtesy of American 1 Credit Union.

Random Acts of Community started in the beginning of 2013 as an easy way for the community to give back to one another. There are many ways to partake, simply pay for the order behind you in the drive thru, or leave money in the vending machine at work. Members of the community can read local stories at http://randomactsofcommunity.org/; as well as submit their own stories to randomacts@a1cu.org. Feel free to submit stories of what someone did for you or your own random act of community. We encourage everyone to Pass It On this holiday season.
