Alicia Vitarelli, 6ABC’s co-anchor of Action News, emceed the event and brought tremendous enthusiasm and hometown flair for the audience. In addition to the Ultimate Gelatin Slide, children of all ages participated in the Gelatin Eating Contest, Balloon Toss Contest, Gelatin Seek and Find and other fun games. Musical guests, lostmyhead, performed for participants and attendees during the event.
The Kids-N-Hope Foundation raises money to support Child Life Services, specifically, Music Therapy programs at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and other local hospitals within American Heritage’s Workplace Partnership Program.
“We had an incredible turnout at our flagship fundraising event and are very appreciative of our sponsors for this record-setting event,” states Bruce Foulke, American Heritage’s President & CEO. “The proceeds will help children and their development at local-area hospitals and enhance their ability to cope with the hospital experience.”
