American Heritage Credit Union reaches $4 billion in assets
Credit Union Now Serves Over 250,000 Members Through 35 Locations and 800 Workplace Part
PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 5, 2022) — American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) recently reached $4 billion in assets at the end of March, another significant milestone in the credit union’s history, having recently welcomed its 250,000th member as well. In just over four years, American Heritage has doubled in asset size as families and business throughout the Delaware Valley continue to discover what makes American Heritage different from other financial institutions.
Formed in 1948 as the Budd Workers Federal Credit Union, the original branch was on Hunting Park Avenue in North Philadelphia. Rechristened as American Heritage Credit Union in 1987, American Heritage is now one of the 90 largest credit unions in the United States, with more than 35 locations across Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Camden Counties, serving more than 800 Workplace Partners throughout the region.
