Announcing the New Members Home and Auto Brand Identity

TROY, MI (April 16, 2013) – Officials from Members Home and Auto today revealed their new logo at a gathering of colleagues.   The new logo puts a greater emphasis on their key differentiating service which is connecting members of associations, credit unions and occupational groups to a network of respected insurance companies.  Members benefit by gaining access to insurance markets, professional agents and group discounts that they would not otherwise be introduced to if they were not a member of a participating group.

CEO and President, Don White stated “Our corporate Strategic Planning sessions identified that we could better accomplish our long-term goals with a new brand design to more effectively communicate our value proposition to all stakeholders.”  Vice President, Chuck Whitelam, added that “the new brand design creates a strong metaphor for how we connect members to our network of insurance companies and are able to transition their insurance coverage as their needs change over time.”

Members Home and Auto was launched by its parent company, Hershey Insurance Group, in 1997.  The previous logo was created in 2005 and since then the program has expanded its value and relevance by forming affinity partnerships with some of Michigan’s most respected Credit Unions along with other professional groups and associations.
