Artmet Federal Credit Union approves merger with RTN Federal Credit Union

WALTHAM, MA (December 1, 2021) — Members and the Board of Directors of Artmet Federal Credit Union voted on November 17 to approve a merger with RTN Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Waltham. The merger is effective December 1.

Artmet currently serves the employees and family members Artisan Industries of Stoughton, MA (formerly located on Pond Street in Waltham). Artisan Industries has been providing innovative thermal separation process solutions to industry for more than 85 years. Artmet FCU currently has 49 members with $300,000 in assets.

“I want to acknowledge the hard work and leadership that went into building Artmet Federal Credit Union through the years,” says RTN Treasurer and CEO Richard Wright. “We hope our new members will enjoy access to a wider offering of products and services that include mortgage loans, financial planning, insurance products, debit and credit cards, as well as a large ATM network. We are pleased to welcome our newest members of the RTN family.”
