Black named Business Services Officer at Truliant

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (January 16, 2018) — Truliant Federal Credit Union (Truliant) has named William H. (Hugh) Black to the role of Business Services Officer.

In this role, Black will work with business owners in the Greensboro and High Point areas to provide unique lending solutions to meet the needs of business owners in communities served by Truliant.

The credit union offers a complete range of  commercial lending services, and is a large provider of Small Business Administration 7(a) loans for equipment, real estate, working capital, business acquisition and refinancing needs.

Black reports to Truliant Vice President of Business Services Rob McFarland.

“Hugh has been critical in the success of his previous clients and brings a wealth of experience to this role,” McFarland said. “During his career, Hugh has demonstrated leadership and has been a top performer, while building long-term relationships with his clients. We’re excited to have him as part of our team.”

Black has served in several business development, relationship manager, loan portfolio manager and other roles at Triad-based financial institutions. His experience includes managing large loan portfolios, and he has consistently ranked as a top overall performer.

A cum laude graduate of Appalachian State University, Black received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Banking and Finance concentration.
