Canvas Credit Union celebrates Anschutz Branch Grand Reopening
Free food, fun, and prizes at the Canvas Homecoming: Anschutz Branch unveils new experience for local credit union.
DENVER, CO (February 13, 2019) — Canvas Credit Union unveiled their new branch experience during their Canvas Homecoming: Anschutz Branch celebration on January 25, 2019. The family-friendly grand reopening combined fun tours of the new innovative branch layout along with free coffee, local eats, and prizes.
The unveiling of their new branch experience is part of a larger evolution for Canvas, after officially changing their name last year. Formerly Public Service Credit Union, the Colorado-based credit union has served local communities for more than 80 years. Ready to paint a new path, this grand reopening is one of many, as Canvas reinvents each of their 26 branches to embrace their new identity.
According to Chris Chippindale, Chief Operating Officer at Canvas Credit Union, all their future locations will embrace a new open and welcoming vibe. “We really believe members are going to feel more comfortable sharing their stories and needs with us in this new type of conversational environment,” said Chippindale.
Canvas has already shown off this new vision at their Arvada Branch during a grand reopening of the renovated location in December of 2018. In addition, they held a ground-breaking ceremony for a brand new Castle Rock location, the first of its kind built from the ground up.
