Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union kicks off “Banking In Your Boxers” campaign
COLUMBIA, SC (August 11, 2014) — Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union is kicking off phase two of a campaign centering on the many convenient products offered to members. Banking In Your Boxers puts a humorous touch to the ease of using many credit union services from the comfort of home or “anywhere else that pants are optional.” The campaign kicks off on Thursday August 14th with a video series showing members “banking in their boxers” around campus.
The series consists of four videos, one to launch each Thursday morning via YouTube, Pandora Radio, Facebook, Twitter, and Vine. The videos humorously demonstrate the many convenient services offered by Carolina Collegiate such as the new TouchBanking mobile banking app, remote deposit capture, new StressFree BillPay, 24-hour loan service by phone or internet plus shared branching, co-op ATMs and more available to members.
“We find many consumers are attached to their banks because of the notion that credit unions are small and inconvenient,” said Anne Shivers, CEO of Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union. “We’re on a mission to educate consumers that Carolina Collegiate offers many of the same conveniences the big banks offer, with the personal approach that most credit unions are known for.”
Created by the credit union consulting firm Your Marketing Co, the goal of the videos is to not only educate consumers and entice them to join the credit union, but to inform current members about the many conveniences they have access to but may not be aware of.
