CDFCU plans new credit union website design with BloomCU
COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, UT (November 6, 2017) — Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union (CDFCU), based in Northeast Washington, has teamed up with BloomCU to develop a new credit union website design that fits CDFCU’s uncommonly friendly brand.
CDFCU is exceptionally friendly, even among credit unions. It’s not unusual for a member to stop by a branch just to gab, read the paper, and drink coffee with CDFCU’s staff—even if a member have no intention of making a financial transaction.
Currently, cdfcu.com doesn’t represent the credit union’s brand as it should. That’s why CDFCU is working with BloomCU to design a new website that highlights and represents some of these important elements of CDFCU’s brand:
- CDFCU is a place where members sometimes come just to shoot the breeze, because CDFCU is an uncommonly friendly credit union.
- CDFCU recognizes that some decisions should be made over coffee. When members need to make big financial decisions, CDFCU is there to support them and talk through the options.
- When you call CDFCU, you don’t get a phone tree, you get a human. CDFCU has intentionally chosen friendliness over efficiency because they care more about people than profit.
BloomCU recently finished the information architecture for CDFCU, which included usability studies with card sorting and tree testing to better organize the website and make navigation easy as pie. Now, they are wireframing the site structure and exploring different design concepts.
