Celebrate #CUPride at Underground Collision Meet Ups putting into action the Underground Collision conversation

BOULDER CITY, NV (February 26, 2020) — This year, in Washington DC, Mitchell, Stankovic & Associates’ Underground Collision will host its first ever #MeetUps. These events are intended to foster an environment where the ideas of the Collision can be put into action. On Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, credit union advocates, thought leaders and Underground community members will gather to celebrate #CUPride and will discuss how to promote both the visibility of the LBGTQ+ community and inclusivity for all through programs, education and networking.

The meet up will be open from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the Underground Suite in the Hay-Adams Hotel. Anyone interested is encouraged to stop by and say hello. “Our purpose is to provide a safe place for anyone who supports this community and to allow for a conscious discussion around the needs, the ‘why’ of this collective,” said Brandi Stankovic, Underground Leader and Meet Up organizer.

About the Underground Community

The Underground Community, founded by Susan Mitchell of Mitchell, Stankovic & Associates, questions the divisive rhetoric that has both engaged and enraged us. We drive change, encourage diverse opinions, and force off-record discussions to become on-record initiatives. The hundreds of Underground Colliders believe through incremental, grassroots change, credit unions can become consumers’ financial services provider of choice by applying modern thinking and credit unions’ classic principles: people helping people.
