CFCU Community Credit Union announces new Vice President of Learning and Development
ITHACA, NY (January 8, 2018) — CFCU Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Roberts to Vice President of Learning and Development. The promotion of Rebecca highlights CFCU’s commitment to continually develop the skills of their employees.
Rebecca started her career at CFCU in June of 2011 as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of CFCU. Rebecca quickly ascended during her time at CFCU holding positions as Principal of Strategic Initiatives, Assistant Vice President of Learning and Development and now her new position of Vice President of Learning and Development.
Rebecca’s ability to help create and develop many key strategic learning and development initiatives for CFCU and their employees made her the logical choice for this new position. Rebecca has exhibited her dedication in not only reaching strategic goals within CFCU, but ensuring that she helps employees reach their own specific career developmental goals.
Rebecca has a Bachelor’s Degree from Radford University and a Masters of Education from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, Rebecca is also a graduate of Leadership Tompkins Program and holds a Certified Innovation Executive designation from the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES).
“The promotion of Rebecca is something we are extremely excited about at CFCU,” said Lisa Whitaker, President and CEO of CFCU. “Rebecca truly reflects someone who understands the importance of the development of people while fostering strong community activism in the areas that CFCU serves our members.”
