COCC, a financial technology company serving community financial institutions throughout the Northeast, today announced that it is Great Place to Work-Certified™. Certification is a significant achievement. Using validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work’s rigorous, data-driven “For All” methodology, it was determined that 87% of employees say COCC is a Great Place to Work.
Certification requires that a minimum of 7 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience. COCC greatly exceeded this mark to become one of only 19 companies in Connecticut to earn certification in 2019.
The survey results, which included more than 700 comments on employee experience, show that COCC hits the mark in a number of areas, as employees agreed that COCC makes them feel welcomed during onboarding (95%), has facilities that contribute to a good working environment (94%) and is led by honest and ethical management (92%).
“We are thrilled to be Great Place to Work-Certified™,” said Richard A. Leone, Chief Executive Officer at COCC. “We make employee experience a priority every day and it means a lot that our employees have reported a consistently positive experience with their coworkers, their leaders, and with their jobs. This is important to us because we know that when our employees have a positive experience and live our core values every day, they are more productive, drive better business results, and make a difference to our customers.”
“This is a tremendous honor for COCC,” added Lisa Jacobi, SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer at COCC. “Employees’ ratings and comments in this survey are so important to how we will continue to improve COCC as an employer and service provider.”
“We congratulate COCC on their Certification,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Best Workplace List Research at Great Place to Work. “Organizations that earn their employees’ trust create great workplace cultures that deliver outstanding business results.”
