BEAVERCREEK, OH (December 11, 2018) — “We wanted a true partner that would help us help our members reach their dreams of home ownership.” This, according to Angela Finn, Vice President of Lending & Operations, is why Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union rejoined myCUmortgage® as a partner for mortgage services. myCUmortgage is a leading Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) and wholly-owned by Wright-Patt Credit Union.
Located in Oak Harbor, Ohio, Commodore Perry FCU is taking advantage of several comprehensive solutions from myCUmortgage that will empower them to become exceptional mortgage lenders. These include government lending and the Web Direct web-based mortgage servicing portal.

In 2015, Commodore Perry FCU opted to partner with a different mortgage service provider. What they experienced over the course of this relationship were inconsistencies with loan approvals, difficulties navigating multiple websites and the inability to service their own portfolio loans.
Since rejoining myCUmortgage, “The experience has been nothing short of amazing,” said Finn. Commodore Perry FCU sent their mortgage team to visit myCUmortgage and receive hands-on training on the processes, systems and products offered.
“It was important to us to have our team meet the myCUmortgage team face-to-face. I believe that knowing and understanding how the process works and seeing it in action helps the team become more comfortable, especially when they have questions or get stuck and need to make a call for help.
